I totally think that they easily could, and probably will, kill off a character in the future. Jeff has even said that they would be open to it, and I believe he said that the way it would work is that they would stay on the roster even if they died in the lore(?). With that being said, I 100% believe that if they were to kill of a character, it would be Rein. He's the eldest of them, and refers to many of the others as "kids" (Tracer, Lucio, Brig). Now imagine if the kids were in a situation where they needed to get out. Rein would be the one to hold the line, and lay down his life to protect the others.
