Searching has got to be one of the weirder comics.
I dunno why, but I know I'm not the only one. The whole thing feels... messy...
I guess it could have to do with Zarya having some rather flat characterization (or maybe that she wears the same combat armor around the entire world on a freaking intelligence mission... or indeed, that she's being commanded to lead an intelligence mission in the first place, when she's clearly little more than dumb muscle)

And I guess the comic ends up using the plothook at the end of Infiltration to go essentially nowhere, as Sombra gets away scott-free, loses faith in Katya's usefulness, Katya gets out of it without being exposed, Zarya ends up back on the frontline where she started, and nothing interesting came of anything. Zarya doesn't seem to have grown in a meaningful way (like, say, Symmetra or Pharah in their comics)
All that was really revealed was Sombra's name, and we never really needed it

See, Pharah's comic is great. She's similar to Zarya, being a soldier, and doesn't seem to have much personality in-game, but her comic gave us a lot more insight into her, her personal conflicts, and what being a soldier means to her. We saw her interact with people that meant something to her, and the choices she makes to pull through in the end.
Sure, it wasn't meaningful in the grander scheme of the lore, but it at least was extremely informative about Pharah herself.
