it always seemed odd to me that shrike used the botic rifle, as she would rarely need to use it's healing functions as she was alone and it is pretty weak (about a third of the damage of the widow's kiss). We also can geuss it's her only gun as it is the only one to be found at her base in the necropolis.

Well i have to say there is some corelation with gameplay and lore

The theory that sojourn is the leader of overwatch before its shutdown makes sense considering the meaning of the name makes perfect sense considering a sojourn is a temporary stay and it would be the perfect name to give to a character who is perhaps a placeholder leader who is the only one able to rise to the challenge after the loss of such high ranking members

Liao was a programmer, who worked with AI. She was a female. Mcree had her activation chip, meaning he had ties to Echo previously and had access to the chip. She knew him, and knew him before he lost his arm. He was also a close friend of the OW founders, and it would make sense that he would be friends with Liao as well, which is why they know each other and refer to each other as friends. This would also partially explain why Liao is mentioned so rarely, because she isn't really gone. Again, this is purely speculation and all those things can be explained with a much simpler way, but that's what I imagine tbh

Soldier wasn’t made gay. He was designed to be the non stereotypical walking homosexual instead of the hollywood stereotyped homosexual with the high pitched voice going “HEYYYY LADIES~” and they just made that an aspect of his character. Literally there was no other point than to put in representation. Him being gay doesn’t do anything to rub people the wrong way. Did you want a rainbow hero with pretty lashes and who’s ability was to throw fruit? Like I genuinely don’t understand the controversy here. This game has a bunch of people of different races cause overwatch is set internationally and set in the future and as of right now, most western countries are pretty accepting of lgbt and only like two of a roster of 30 and growing is at all related lgbt
