which was the covert team meant to do things illegally and under the table

torture, kidnapping, assassinations, etc...

that shook the world's trust in OW

it's implied that overwatch fell from outside forces like talon and potentially some traitors inside of the organization that also led to it's downfall

who these traitors are? We don't necessarily know but the strongest case is Sombra

We never actually get much hint of that actually

it's implied that reyes was jealous of morrison because he became leader of overwatch and he didn't which we later found out wasn't true and he was actually happy to not have to burden the responsibility of leader of Overwatch

Chu said this and I believe it was in a newspaper article really early on. That implied that reaper and soldier was fighting but it turns out they were writing it from the perspective of an unreliable narrator

Oasis is boasted to have the most intelligent society being a technocracy, as well as apparently a famous tourist area since it's restaurants have hours to years on their waiting list, and from us as viewers who get to walk through it, they're seemingly very economically successful. And they also tell us that it's the one of the, if not THE safest place on earth meaning that there is probably high levels of security and also are constructing a massive structure that has already surpassed the world's tallest skyscrapers that no one knows what it does. From how it's been described I'd say it's bordering a utopia/dystopia. A utopia in that people are very intelligent and that people are avidly working to make discoveries that maybe used to help the world as a whole. On the Dystopia side, it would seem that they have little regard for things like ethics since Moira before was disgraced as an unethical geneticist whose experiments couldn't have been replicated in a normal way but since she was seemingly on the seat of Oasis and is one of their heads, It would stand to reason that Moira doesn't have to really worry about ethics here and so potential dystopia of sort

However it's not a traditional dystopia in that people are seemingly free to leave their city whenever where as traditional dystopia is a shitty place where everyone is stuck and forced to live there which we don't really see or have yet to see

and AI who just performs it's function

If a computer can be hijacked then they aren't really living people and instead are just that first thing, a computer.
Chu has stated that omnics are supposed to represent marginalized populations as seen from the kings row and paris treatment of omnics, strongly resembling post civil war era treatment of African americans.
This becomes muddled because nothing in recorded human history has ever actually been someone being possessed by another person or entity. At least scientifically proven anyway. So this is why the water gets very muddled. Chu wants us to treat omnics as people who are living and have feelings and souls and whatever but on the off hand they created something that is very much not a human thing, possession, happening in a logical sense but also taking a bit from their "omnichood"/humanity or omnicnity

like we see sombra hack an omnic which makes sense but we've never really had a hacked human before and if sombra can hack omnics it's possible that omnics can hack other omnics conceivably which I guess would be the equivalent of possession or carrying around a needle with a virus and injecting them with it

Well, he's a lot more interesting during the retribution event since there's personal turmoil there and he still actively hates Hanzo and his new cyborg body. After he meets with Zenyatta and comes to terms with what happened and forgives Hanzo his story arc is already finished. The only Shimada with a character arc still to finish is Hanzo. Genji just needs to offer it to him and be there for him when he finally is ready to forgive himself.

Its a generational name. The gauntlet is also either entirely new or improved upon with each generation. The Saviour only had knuckle dusters. The Scourge just had the gauntlet. Akande has his whole arm as the gauntlet.
