Well yeah, Null Sector went full terrorist on everyone's ass, this won't happen in Paris but they're clearly teasing a heated confrontation between revolutionaries and the fancy folk celebrating the passing of the (very likely anti) omnic legislation at the gala in Maison Marat. Not a bloodshed, but, in good old french fashion, protests. I don't think the protests will be ultra violent (at first). The police most likely will though, fearing to see it escalate into a second omnic crisis. About Paris being in the present or not, well Luna has interactions with heroes so, I'd say it's set in the present but they're not in game yet sooooo.

@limpid agate Paris could be a PvE map in the same way that Rialto was. Not exactly the same, like some walls or bridges less or more. Also move around some crates, paint, general looks of things... Perhaps even add a few rooms that aren't accesable on the 2cp map. There's certainly plenty of doors where enemies can spawn or where other rooms are behind.

Anime in it's modern form was around since the fifties or sixties. And it has gotten better since then, when anime really caught up to speed and became popular in the eighties domestically in Japan and the nineties globally.
The 2000's, the trend just got better as the 2010's anime look were defined later on that decade.
And since modern anime was able to start in the mid 20th century and got better since then, I believe anime will be even better by Genji's early life, especially when new and successful manga is produced.

From my knowledge of a chain of command, and military organization, D.Va's squad is larger than what's being shown.
We have the pilots, mechanics, and support personnel.
