Regarding a fight between D.Va and Hammond, I can see Hammond winning in the end but after a slugfest. As shown with Shooting Star, MEKA's are able to take serious damage (Lost both of her Fusion Cannons and survived when Gwisin hitting the weakpoint of all MEKA's, the frontal half window.).

What's more probable is that he's high up in Vishkar ladder and is currently working with Talon to achieve his own goals and most likely his goal will probably be to take over Vishkar; A humble disposition as well as a long track record of success, I'd buy it if he was just doing everything he could to gain more power so that he can take charge eventually of a company as an eventual CEO or something
