As I've said, it would require an event to happen that either moves Mercy to a plot-relevant area or moves some other characters to Mercy's location.

Mercy doesn't seem to want to join Overwatch, so she probably isn't moving voluntarily.

The most likely possibility is that Talon does an assassination mission on her, and Overwatch steps in to save her, bringing her into both new Overwatch and the plot.

its really interesting how mercy is acting about overwatch. I mean she is a doctor who by her oath must be against the hurting people and considering swiss HQ was her place in a way overwatch hurt many people by destroying it and they arent just heroes helping people and catching bad guys overwatch is a spec ops so they use guns to get rid of problems. So seeing mercy's flashbacks about what happened with her and overwatch would be great to know
