account suspended or restricted?
I haven't heard of accounts being suspended before.
Usually, in the case of breaking the rules (most often generating NSFW images), restrictions were imposed. Prohibition on publishing creations, inability to earn lumens in the application.
I’ve contacted customer services via the app email to appeal as status says banned when you appeal the suspension. I don’t know why. I’ve never entered anything explicit in the prompts to create the images. It’s the AI that at times could or that interpretation made by AI after publishing its a catch 22. I’ve deleted my latest published work if that was the issue
every now and then a script is run that checks user creations, all of them, not just the published ones. If you accidentally create NSFW images, you should delete them. Only support can lift the restriction if you did not create images that violate the rules.
I’m still suspended/banned still waiting for support to get back to me as I’ve appealed against the suspension. I’ve never ever entered explicit prompts that would go against the policy. Starryai never sent any email to say I would of been suspended only found out during one of the daily challenges. Could another user be jealous of my work & report to the server??? I’ve seen some of peoples posts stating about hidden settings is that an issue??? I know one user all of their work settings are hidden & they aren’t banned 🤷🏻♀️. There is some serious inconsistencies with other peoples pics on the app Some were passed when they shouldn’t of been allowed
An update after sending several messages to support. I am no longer suspended/banned & deleted some images. I hope this doesn’t happen again it was very stressful
👍 I am very happy, you have to remove such images that are created by accident. And it is better to use proven styles because custom styles trained by users sometimes cause such problems.
Mine too and I'm seriously going to delete this app if I can't earn lumens to make any art at all
Keep trying to contact support challenge the fact you have been banned & don’t know why. If you never entered anything that would go against the policy it’s the AI bot that does it or the type of style used that could cause the problem. Check your image’s do any have the sentence against service policy?? You can download the images to your phone then delete on the app. By doing this & telling support you are willing to delete images that went against AI bot you should be able to be re-instated
Hello,
Please create a support ticket to be provided a possible resolution
had this same thing happen to me around that time. maybe before. i created a support ticket explaining it seemed i was suspended likely in error, and submitted an appeal.
a few hrs later my profile page was accessible again with stats, but nothing published. alerted support and asked of i needed to republish everything manually or if it was all just lost.
i hadn't recieved any correspondence up until then, so they assured me that someone was preparing a response and i could ask them how to proceed. that was over a month ago. still havent heard back. still nothing published in my profile, but my likes are somehow counted.
still don't know if i was actually suspended or if it was just an error/bug.
is there someone i should reach out to, or is it just not worth it?
I will summarize what I remember and what other users wrote on discord. I have not seen any case where what they had previously published was restored. I suspect that the mechanism assuming the account restriction was made a long time ago and did not have the option to undo all changes. It did not write down which creations were previously published. These are just my guesses and I may be wrong. I know that there was no entry on discord of any person who had it restored. Some people re-published some earlier creations and some only new ones.
thx. i just published one creation i know was formerly published. upon doing so, i lost my 10k+ likes 🫤.
somehow still have my 5000 club badge though.
any idea if there was just an accidental ban bug? seems odd i never got an email or anything.
every now and then a script runs that checks the creations, all the unpublished ones too. The script automatically imposes a restriction and does not send warnings. If you accidentally generate images that violate the rules, you should delete them.
likes were removed because there are no published images that were liked.
I can't explain it 100% but this happened to me last year, I was "banned" like you where my account remained but I couldn't publish, it went on for weeks before it was "restored" but my published creations were all gone, I still had them in my folder just not published on my profile page, so I had to start my "wall" all over again, all my like and followers and all of that remained so that was the good part.
The "ban" was an error or bug or something, I had in no way violated the tos, there are strange things that it can flag you for, if you published a normal image but one of the variations was a nsfw or a blurred content violation image, even though you didn't publish the bad image it still gets flagged because it's part of that collection, so my advice is always delete any image from your variations regardless of if you can see it or not
your likes remained on your published works? mine are wiped, both from my profile total, and each published work. but i still have the 5k club badge. i had like 4 or 5 creations in the top 10 (all time,) so it's a pretty signifigant disappointment.
i did notice that when republishing, all the other data is there (title, selections made to publish prior, and placement on my profile in which they were published before). it's only the likes that are gone
Yeh I also had 5 images or so in the all time, that was the most annoying part for me but thankfully I got to keep my Guild badge at least
That's not what Catch-22 means.
