This Forum is the new home for all of you enthusiasts who want to contribute & participate in the New Artist Styles Contest with a chance to win rewards worth a total of 500 credits!
A new Post will be made for each contest that will go hand in hand with the ⁠posts in the #closed-lyra-artist-styles-guide
Each contest will have its own artists to test out. These will be announced in each post

Our 3rd Artist Styles Contest is now out!!! 🎨 🥳

The contest will go hand to hand with the last episode in ⁠the #closed-lyra-artist-styles-guide posted today and will correspond to the artists 🧑‍🎨 in that episode.
You can check the latest post (Episode 3) in the guide to learn each style and how to use it

🚨 Please note that the Artist Styles are recognized by "Art/Lyra" ONLY and not by "Photos"!

Here are the rules!
▶️ You are allowed to submit one entry per artist (use Art/Lyra for the Artist Style to be recognized)
▶️ Submissions should be posted in this channel through a starryai weblink + copy of specific image entered labelling the Artist Name
▶️ You are totally free to pick ANY composition and use ANY prompt as long as the Artist Name is used. Of Course artwork that makes good use of the Artist's style & Aesthetic will be better perceived
▶️ All settings must be open/public as we are here to share know-how and tips!
▶️ Submission are open for a week till following Saturday(6th of May) 12 PM EST. Afterwards submissions will no longer be accepted
▶️ We will pick a shortlist of entries for voting
▶️ Voting will be closed and winners will be announced 24 hours later

I'd like to repeat a previous tip to all our contestants out there 🙂
The more modifiers you add, the less true the result stays to the style.
The idea of using an Artist Name is that you can achieve a specific aesthetic/style with no or minimal need for modifiers 🙂
If the same modifiers are added to all creations, we end up with images that share the same vibe losing the individuality of the artist style
So try not to use modifiers that would change the nature of the style!
Examples:
Using photorealistic with an Artistic style will result in a totally altered artwork that is NOT artistic
Using hyperdetailed with a Minimalist style will result in an artwork that is NOT minimalistic
You get the idea!
Same with too many excessive negative prompts. They will alter the end result away from the style of the Artist
Experiment with less modifiers and see if that gives more stylized results! 🙂

I have to say you are all making the awarding part of these contests very very difficult!!! So many great entries, I have no idea what to do or how I will fit the current rewards to a voting system that will be appreciative enough of all your good work!

I had an extremely difficult task trying to select nominees for this contest as we had some really great entries from both veteran users and new comers!
To try and make this a bit fair for new comers to the contest, I've made a separate voting bracket just for new comers and another bracket for veteran users & past winners. Some users were selected for their overall sets while others were selected for a specific masterpiece or 2!
