#Corporate Culture (pun intended)

I think for laughs and giggles, we get a Corporation culture (Astral base) where the units outfits wear basically suits and white-collar attire, the buildings are skyscrapers, and the subcultures would be Bureaucracy (Order), Finance (Materium), and Legal (Shadow). Dragon lords would get cosmetics for evoking Wall street Bears and Bulls, Eldritch Sovereign's cosmetics would be more satirical in terms of Corporations, Giant King's cosmetics might have some blend of corporate attire and debris you'd expect a Giant to have if it were to run into an office building. I don't expect we get this culture, but I kind of want to imagine how we might get this culture in a later DLC.

A whole culture might be too hard, but I would mind a few suits and sunglasses

suits and sunglasses would be awesome, and and I was thinking the female units would wear suit dresses or something. and as for the culture, I think that to prevent technological mismatch with the other cultures would be to make the clothes and building only just enough to evoke the Corporate vibe, basically "what if a magic civilization evolved into Corporate Culture with magic instead of electricity"; like a steampunk or I guess in this case "Corporate-Punk".

Industrious/reavers with tuxedos. I dig it.

This is so goofy that I am all for it. Corpo-Rats in the underworld, monopolizing your trash into their treasure.

I think its too goofy for the setting ngl, I'm not a big fan when thing goes too insane and out of bounds, this has the same energy of putting a AK 47 in the game, certainly funny as a joke not as a whole new weapon class

I slightly disagree.

I totally see corporate culture, sci-fi alien culture or whatever culture as a part of a game. Come on, we have a multiverse here, all kinds of cultures may appear!

If someone wants some of their games to be purely staple fantasy, the devs even implemented the checkboxes for world generation.

I can understand that this idea might not be promising enough, as many players will agree with you and boycott the related DLC, but for me anything is totally suitable - as soon as it adds enough novelty into the game.

I think they should have a spin off version that’s similar to modern/sci fi setting. Then have the option to combine universes.

#

Similar to how warhammer total war has 3 maps. You can extend it to a larger map. If I want medieval setting. Works. If I want only sci fi. Works. If I want crazy setting supporting everything. Still works.

Ah, I just mean feature flagged by Boolean sets.

Select the in-universe content by setting some toggles.

When I conceived this corporate culture, I kind of figured since we have Wizard Kings that we could push the envelope in terms of perceived fantasy; Wizard Kings are by lore implications interlopers from another realm, so why should they fully bend to rules of the realm they occupy. To those that still find this corpo idea too goofy or too much of a stretch, I think at some point that we should get in realm settings when we create a match that we can set filters for accepted cultures, spell tomes, forms, etc.; that way people can play the game expecting certain faction variety.
