You can now use your imperium to boost your allegiance with free cities. What if you could use your imperium every X turns to request an audience with a free city of your chosing?
That way:
-Makes the "imperium boop boost" a lot more immersive
-You can fail those quests
-You also get a tiny nice bonus so you might even want to do that with cities which are already your vassal.
-Generative storytelling hell yeah.

Replaying AoW3, I do like the little quests the free cities give you, so +1, would be nice 🙂 Doesn't even necessarily need the imperium spending, a random chance, with the option to spend imperium to instantly get one would be great

Actually yes. Maybe something like copying the current hero cap system. You get one every X turns, but you can use imperium to force a quest.
