Bloom Tyrants or Confluence Incarnates

The Numbered Nature

Are they primal fae born by accident?
Ancient spirits misaligned through coincidence — or the inevitable result of forces converging beyond mortal design?

Bloom Tyrants are not plants.
They are not beasts.
They are not merely rulers.

They are spiritual confluences — intersections of unseen currents — made manifest through a chaotic biological bloom.

They arise where pressures overlap and unseen vectors collide. The bloom is not ornamentation; it is rupture made visible. Spores, petals, rot, radiance — whatever form emerges is simply the surface expression of deeper convergence.

They do not expand like empires.
They do not invade like armies.

They overwrite.

Each Bloom Tyrant is a sovereign nexus of proliferation — unstable, excessive, self-multiplying — yet centered around a singular will capable of commanding the storm it embodies.

Their dominion expresses itself through three primal currents:

  • Dandelions — dispersion, drift, inevitability.
  • Mycelium — connection, infiltration, subterranean dominion.
  • Swarm — multiplicity, saturation, overwhelming presence.

No two Bloom Tyrants manifest alike.
Some appear radiant.
Some grotesque.
Some disturbingly divine.

They are not random growth.

They are counted.

For every Confluence that is numbered,
a Tyrant has already bloomed.

🜁 Core Mechanics – Bloom Tyrants/Confluence Incarnates

The Bloom Tyrant or Confluence Incarnate is sustained by three spiritual cores — condensed nodes of collective will embedded within its body.

These are not decorative.
They are structural.

1️⃣ Distributed Vitality

Total HP is divided evenly across the three cores.

Each core must be destroyed individually.

The Incarnate remains active as long as at least one core survives.

Damage is applied to the active core currently exposed in combat.

This creates targeted pressure rather than a single health bar.

2️⃣ Structural Degradation

As cores fall, the Incarnate changes:

🔵 Three Cores

Balanced state.

Access to full ability set.

🟡 Two Cores

Slight offensive amplification.

Minor loss of stability (reduced passive resilience).

🔴 One Core

Damage significantly increased.

Counterattacks trigger twice.

Becomes immune to displacement effects.

The will condenses into a final violent focus.

3️⃣ Perfect Alignment (Once per Combat)

For 1 turn, the Incarnate may activate Core Alignment:

All remaining cores synchronize.

Either:

Evades all incoming attacks
OR

Enters Absolute Firmness (counts as permanently Defending)

This does not restore lost cores.

It represents peak spiritual coherence.

4️⃣ Core Exposure & Counterplay

Cores are visually readable and partially exposed.

Certain high-impact attacks may temporarily “expose” a core, increasing damage taken that turn.

Trickster path may create false core projections.

Growth path may slightly regenerate a damaged (but not destroyed) core.

5️⃣ Identity Impact

The core system ensures:

Survivability is structural, not inflated HP.

Losing strength makes them more dangerous.

Players must choose between bursting early or surviving the final core state.

The ruler feels unique without being unkillable.

In essence:

The Confluence Incarnate does not weaken as it breaks.

It concentrates.
