I'm loving the game so far, completely addicted to it since I started playing and I was wondering if you could add Giant Wolf rulers. Giant Wolves that start with Nature affinity, able to change their appearance and affinity with elemental enchantment book spells. (If they could weild weapons that'd be cool too, but if that's too much to ask, I will understand)
If it's easier you could make it just in general Giant Beast Rulers for everyone's enjoyment, creating variant versions for boars and other such creatures.
Thank you for considering my request!

Could be fun, but I feel like this is one of those ruler types that ends up to constrained to a specific affinity, since it's flavor all comes from association with the affinity.

That's part of why I play Eldritch sovereigns less than I play dragons or wizard Kings, not because I like them less but because they work flavor wise in a smaller portion of factions.

I think for this it would make more sense to have a very broad monstrosity ruler type that includes giant beasts, as well as more powerful forms of other existing creatures (trolls as an example), where it works kind of like the different giant king types where you have broad patterns and each option gets some of its own things and the broad patterns are modified to make sense for those.

Since otherwise I think we can risk getting into having too many different types of rulers that you only rarely actually get a chance to use. Since I think a lot of people already want vampires, some sort of Fey, some sort of internal demon, and other stuff like that so I think that anything that ends up with too narrow applicability should be folded in with similar options rather than each being their own

I kind of prefer the idea of a chimera with different animal parts. So you could create a wolf, if you wanted. Or another animal. Or go crazy-nuts with different heads, midsections, tails, legs, etc.

I’ve had the idea of a giant bear ruler that works similar to the dragons in that it takes aspects.

Order- Celestial Beast

Shadow- Demiurge beast of lies

Chaos- Fenrir Beast of War

Nature- Behemoth primordial beast

Materium- Beast of Industry/City

Astral- Beast of the stars.

And then adding in the Giant Kings choice where you choose what kind of great beast it is.

Canid

Bovine/Cervid

Feline

Avian

Arthropod

I like this but i feel like it should be an animal thats representative of specific factions, similar to the way primal cultures are.

Then each one could be treated similarly to the dragon when equipment comes to question with the exception of them being able to wear special beast armor and helmets. Maybe not foot covering unless its a horseshoe or something similar but that should be covered by their weapon of either fangs, tusks, claws, horseshoes, etc.

I love these ideas, they sound much more thought through and observant of the game's mechanics, balance and factions.

I would probably play primal a lot if their ruler could be a beefed up storm crow or something similar

I figure the Avian could be made into a crow or raven like bird look

Tho as much as I’d like to put in all beasts. It doesn’t equal to a good quality. To many things.

Granted the bovine/cervid could be made into elephantine I just like giant deer and giant bulls aesthetically more as both are symbols of many different things in our worlds mythology
