This hero class could:

1)access to all ranged: orbs, staffs, pistol or magelock (special attacks no bonuses to damage with drowning effects over time)

2)Casts Whirlwind or Water Jets (scalable AoE up to affecting five enemies) repelling enemies one hex back (scalable up to 2 hexes) with 2 turns cooldown. causes no damage.

3)Projects a new type of Whirlwind or Water Jet near enemies and asphixiates each turn they are close contact with a chance to stun, each of continued contact damage increases a little.

4)Casts a transportation or phases an ally to a new location, helping to reposition units.

  1. Explosion of water or wind once per battle that destroys obstacles and corpses in a circle of 5 hexes, causes low damage.

I just want more classes like rangers with bow and guns, doing other things.

Just give ranged weapons to a Rogue and/or Engineer class and give the Elementaliat a 5th discipline for water abilities. I don't see much reason to create a class that is some sort of weird hybrid which uses both ranged weapons and water abilities.
