I like the giants, but I am extremely limited in what I can actually make. Each option that is available is well done but outside of those few specific looks I don't have much to work with.
Right now we have (for women) effectively:
4 heads (Normal, Cyclops, Brute, Ettin)
5 hairstyles (one being just bald)
12 helmets (1 mammoth tusk helm that clips through capes, 1 Sauron mask, 1 Iji mask, 1 dragon helm, 1 smoky mask, 1 twigs coming out of hair, 2 hoods, 2 stone masks, 1 element shattered head)
9 outfits (3 variations of exposed skin, 1 "shrek", 1 blacksmith, 1 dragon killer, (ONLY) 1 armor, 1 shattered body, 1 plant/fungal)
7 capes (1 cloak and pauldron, 2 fur capes, 1 twin ribbon cape, 1 scrap cape, 1 dragon pauldrons, 1 elements in shoulders)
Now, on paper that doesn't seem bad. That many options equals 15,120 unique combinations. But that would be deceiving because many of these assets make no sense when combined with anything else or are arbitrarily locked.
For example, female giants have (on paper) 5 hairstyles. What is deceiving from this list is that one hairstyle is locked behind the mammoth helm and the "Shrek" head. If you want that hairstyle those are your only two options. But why? The mammoth helm uses the normal/default head option but if I want that hair without the helm I am completely out of luck. The work has already been done to implement this option and this seems like an oversight. Freeing these options up to be individually chosen would open up a lot of looks.
That said the options are still limited. We have frost giants but no fur/winter clothing, only 1 armored option, and only 1 option for the "Shrek" body type. This should/can be improved, but that's a decision about priorities while working on the next DLC.
Additions could be most of the cultural helms and armor. What does a Dark or Oathsworn or Primal Giant leader look like? How many of these humanoid heads can be implemented on the giant rig? There's a lot of opportunity here
