The Consolidating Push variation of the Pushing Attack ability for the Defender class seems to result in as much damage back as it heals for. I've tried respeccing to the Displace and Replace version and repeating the same battle- it doesn't have this problem. It's as if the Temporary Health granted by the attack to the caster also repeats their own attack against them.
I don't know why exactly there is Lightning damage getting invovled- it could be something to do with my Inner Lightning or Ascended Stormbearer traits, I will need to retest this with a character who lacks these abiltiies.
Confirmed that when a character without Inner Lightning does this attack they still take physical damage, but no lightning damage. This supports my hypothesis that the attack is being repeated against the caster as the lightning damage must be coming from my own Inner Lightning trait dealing extra damage back to me.
