Only if the heroes also do the shade's completely unnecessary flips when throwing.

That flip would be pretty useful as a forward roll that moves past an enemy. But yeah, unnecessary backflips is peak fantasy ninjas

They would be doing like 3x more damage without that flip, and the devs needed to nerf them
But need to get those dance lessons in, they have a performance on the weekends!

Skirmisher with javelins and small buckler in style of Roman Velites or Greek Peltastes is very sound idea. Thumbs up!
