There are many cultures/roleplay styles out there that dont or would prefer not to use guns. Id love to see new hero skirmish weapons. A sword and crossbow simmilar to the inquisitor.
Perhaps a longsword and bow (think aragorn style ranger?)
A brace of daggers that can be both thrown or used for a real assassin feel?
Javelins like the barbarian use of course.

Cute but it's obvious that he's talking about a parallel to the sabre/pistols that are, also, already in the game and much more functional.
