Isn't it strange how the brave Sir Peter, Lord of Helurad, never once actually bothered going to the city he is Lord of? This should be a big deal for him. He just got promoted!

Why not change this with: LORD skills.
For cities:
1-When city Lord is fighting in city's domains, get a morale boost for troops.
2-When city Lord is present in city's domains, get a small happiness boost for said city.
3-When city Lord is present in city's domains, get a random bonus based on the lord. Kind of like Feudal but you need to be there.

For Lords
1-When city Lord fights in his own city domain, morale boost.
2-When city Lord is in his own city domain, regeneration boost just for him/her.
3-When city Lord is in his own domain, they may move slightly faster, as they know the land.

i feel this doesnt really add much.

flavor-wise, its nice, but its just an additional with no real benefit

I just want to find a way of spreading heroes around without adding that hero clash mechanics. Also city lords don't really seem to matter at all I think. Except for that one quest with the veterans.

hero clash is going away next update

Is the hero cap system staying? If so, we're going to have games with way too many heroes around.

hero cap is staying. Clash isnt

How are we going to deal with the AI spamming and stacking hordes and hordes of heroes? ||Or rather, how are we going to avoid stacking hordes and hordes of heroes vs the AI? ||
Doomstacks will be even worse than before. thinkRat

AI wont spam bc they wont press the button unless on higher difficulties (or so im told).

#

As for Hero Spam vs AI.... just imperium. Thats it.

^now, even with hero clash mechanics

Weird posting in my own thread, but maybe the solution for this would be to add Hero City Lord related quests and forget about the rest.

Still, I liked AoW3 pre-battle morale modifiers.
