A fairy race who are tiny would be super cool ! You could balance it sort of like pf2e so reach weapons have no reach or something !

Honestly, I agree, but fairy lore is all over the place. Fae/fey broadly refers to European nature spirits, which has hundreds of different beings. Elves are actually a type of fairy. It would be difficult to choose who would be the mascot to represent them all or whether the developers would just mix and mash a bunch of traits they think most people could easily identify as fairy

Well we got some weird ones already (though I love em) and humanlike pixie fairies have a history in aow that would feel most proper
