#Battles are hard to read: Units that have (not yet) acted

Back in AoW3, there was a very explicit visual distinction between units that had acted and units that have not. I'd expect that to be clear with the unit banners being bright or slightly greyed out, but instead that's an indicator of something else I've yet to figure out.

Especially in bigger battles, this makes it very hard to read which unit has moved and which has not.

And yes, there is a "unmoved unit" button. It is very unhelpful, because it goes by some arbitrary order, instead of located somewhere near my area of interest.

greyed out is the indicator though 🤔, well, low transparency

I do agree, it is hard to see, especially when the screen you play on doesn't have much contrast

Would like a little indicator or something to show

But it's not preserved when you've selected a unit or are otherwise doing things and looking around.

also like effects that are on unit(and what they do) are hard to see like you need to keep your mouse over the unit name

I'd like the ability to preview enemy units range for selected actions. It seems to work if their primary attack is ranged but I haven't figured out previewing the range for other actions.

Sometimes next unit button doesn't exist, when there is clearly another unit able to do its move.

in AoW 2: Shadow Magic I pressed 'n' (from next) several times and if it didn't work on the first try (because all units moved) I knew it's safe to end turn (but not before casting a spell).

Well, seeing the 3 empty action points circles is a good visual aid to see if there's movement left, alongside 'next unit' button/key binding... hmmm, maybe a status bar / line somewhere on the top left of the screen, filled at the start of the turn (total personal army unit movement) and goes to 0 when movement/action points go to zero... that could be another visual aid! 😄 or greyed out unit banners 😄
