Can’t find new schematics to save my life

Pretty much the title. Me and my buddy have been going around the islands, seemingly finding new ones each time from every elevation, and can’t seem to find a new schematic no matter where we go.

In the upgrade schematics tab of the table it says we both have 8/44 unlocked, so I’m assuming there are a ton more to find? Are we just supremely unlucky or am I missing something?

Almost every chest we open, big or small, has upgrade tablets or some other dinky little item and I’m just wondering what we’re doing wrong, if anything. Anyone have any tips?

You're not. Spawn rates for schematics are a bit off ATM. Fortunately, characters retain learned schematics across game files, so if you can't take it anymore:

1, Check the "Schematics Save" thread here on the forums. Download one of the Save World files from there (SaveData World [Number].sav).

2, Move the .sav file to the game's SaveData folder (If you're using Windows, it's [default drive]:\Users[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Bossa Games\LostSkies\SaveData[folder labelled by a string of numbers])

3, Start the game, pick the char you want to learn all the Schematics, and log into the new game file with that character, grab all the Schematics you want, and research them.
