Game will freeze at random times. Unsure of the cause, and unsure of where to obtain logs.

I have the same issue. Unsure where it comes from.
There are some freezes when loading an island (coming near it with a ship, when the LOD changes to see properly the island), which is unpleasant, but not too surprising, but I've also experienced some when I'm already on the island. Which is more surprising because to me it seems like the all island is loaded all at once

Mine happens very intermittently. I can happen while flying and multiple times while exploring an island I've been at for a while.
Every time it freezes, once it unfreezes after about 5 seconds I'm always right where I was when the freeze started, even when swinging from my grapple.
