Me and a friend were playing on the same world when we just logged off for a bit. We decided to log back on and now he is stuck on a black screen, he hears the death sound. He is the host of the world and I am able to join him with no issues. He says he can hear him open his inventory and stuff when he presses enter and etc.

If I recall correctly I ended either in the ark or on my ship

Okay saw a fix somebody else posted. Make a new world and then rejoin the old one and then respawn. If you cant move try and place down a chair to sit and then unsit again.

I had the same thing happen to me, I died
And I was able to return to my ship normally.
