Attempting to upgrade engine limit to maximum deletes all materials, but doesn't upgrade the recipe. Unsure if it's a weird quirk for this one - haven't levelled up anything requiring end game mats before.

so the workaround if you haven't found it already is to upgrade another schematic with tech data, then select the item you want to enhance and click enhance, it will work for everything but the Blue Shotgun MW.
