My speculation: They decided against it because they feel it's too easy to establish ironclad defense or defenses. They purposefully want to cause high rankings churn unless someone whales harder than others

It's a pretty easy guess of what they were thinking on this

They have experience in the first place

They made Destiny Child (idk if it had pvp)

And they play other gacha too (which has pvp)

And they likely discussed what pvp system to put in and as soon someone says "show attacker comps" they likely held a discussion on it

poli got some shield enhancements and is way tankier now, might be interesting for pvp, but only for CA I believe, unsure if she earns a place back in SPA

bay now has some passive healing with full charge shots for the rest of her allies, and they tweaked her skills so that the cover is actually repaired if it was broken...overall seems like they only fixed some basic flaws of her original kit, rather than give her tangible buffs

julia got an interesting kit for iron weak content, but doesn't seem too OP or a priority to work on if you already had 5 decent teams for SR

in summary, I think all 4 fav items this time are overall worth it to get, would say:

• tove first no matter what
• if you don't care about pvp, do julia next
• if you care about pvp, do bay first, then poli next

I used Purepunzel in Rookie before to test Delta, it doesn't skip. But you could check again for 3 second.

The problem is that Crown create individual shield, skipping doesn't make any sense when each nikke have a shield.

Even if shield cause skipping, you can't just skip a shield for another shield.
