is there some sort of display bug where it clearly states that you were attacked after reset (about 10-20 seconds after), and yet the person still attacks you 2 times during the reset
asking because i had this happen to me twice and i very much doubt by the way these attackers play that they would gem (speculative af, but for some reason im sure they wouldn't gem)

It is, but it wholly depends on what’s being delayed

Bay with the hypothetical re-enter burst stage 2 burst will protect team from certain wipes and nukes, so if the enemy relied on that… Bay’s team is likely surviving to finish their B2s and B3 anyway

Whereas, with ViperT3 burst, ViperT3 bursting protects nothing

So ViperT3 + Noah means Noah saving your team’s collective asses will be delayed. A potentially fatal change

I think Blood was calling it dope because he might be thinking about Bay treasure + Trina comp to go with Scarlet

It’d end up protecting Scarlet even more without sacrificing buffing Scarlet’s damage (though it delays Scarlet’s burst)

So I been using Noah, Biscuit, Red Hood, Jackal, Noise as my attacking squad on Rookie Arena, but not sure if I should swap RH with Scarlet or go for a completely diff squad for the defense one, any suggestions?

I suggest playing with Nikke Deck (https://nikke-deck.web.app). For attack, you can just build your team in team 1, then build enemy team in team 2, and compare the two to think about whether you’d win (when ignoring power deficit) on comp alone.

As for Red Hood vs Scarlet on defense, yes. Scarlet’s best with Jackal. It’s not unbeatable, but Scarlet + Jackal that’s protected by Noah is vicious for most pvp noobs to beat. You’ll probably only get beat by pvp veterans or at least somebody that asked for advice from pvp cooks. Aside from players that crushes your power

It used to be that if the enemy had Scarlet, Noah, Jackal, and you didn’t have Noah, you had no chance. Times have changed. But it’s still effective against opponents that lack their own Noah and don’t have a good stall team
