The only way CA would be remotely participated on is if all you would do is pick a winner at no cost, then get a decent amount of credits if you choose correctly, and being able to choose the winners of each bracket up to the championship round would net you even more credits.

But even that… it wouldn’t really promote playing pvp on Nikke. It would just make it
a mode to win free credits like a horse race.

They should really revamp Sp.Arena to make it more fun, rewarding and fair, and deter constant gemming to win.
