Do try to OL+0 all her gear, because you’ll need those cp points to even use her in normal situations

She has lower stats as an SR unit compared to an SSR unit, so be careful about that. Especially putting her in a team with Blanc in it. Anis may steal indom because of lower-base HP.

If you still feel her CP value is lacking, you could try either adding more to her OL gear, or you can try to manipulate the lines on her gear.

blanc+red hood means your scarlet is going to kill pretty much anything that isn't being kept alive or blocking the nuke

their team is slower than most emi/blanc teams, rapunzel isn't doing anything for their team and if they had a battery like centi it would be a different story

I just pulled Maiden and Rumani so I figure there's some burst gen that probably needs to be worked into a defense team or two, but I'm out of my depth here, even after reading the guides.

My teams are pretty strong, I'm easily top 5 in my arena, but I can't beat this absolute f-t. Somehow Blanc (I guess?) drops her invulnerability on his Scarlet and even after I kill ALL of his team and my characters are all alive, his Scarlet with immunity (which feels like forever) kills ALL my characters. Edit: no, Scarlet doesn't kills my characters with her screen-wipe burst, my Noah blocks it, she just takes them out one by one while taking no damage and sitting at (what seems to be) 1HP forever.

positioning matters. the screenshot you posted kinda highlights it. litter, blanc, and scarlet will burst, since jackals and centi's bursts are useless in comparison - this matters a lot. scarlet is in p1 because the lowest HP unit gets blanc's invulnerability and being in p1 increases the chance of being hit

i don't ~ you can always give dodoro's suggestion a try. for me, when it comes to countering that comp, i usually use out CP it. at 85% cp, the team with the deficit gets a stat penalty of 20% plus.

otherwise, it's a gamble and i don't like to waste my attempts, lol.

conceptually, you either need to burst sooner, or tank the damage. i've had success with moran + biscuit and noise to outtank similar comps, but it's like a 50/50 (or worse) of a success rate

Fundamentally how do you cook teams? I tried using the pvp test matrix but it can help some situations

You take into account how fast your team is to build burst meter, nikke skills and synergies your team can do and what the enemy team does well so you can counter

As well as CP deficit and positioning

You also look at what particular nikkes generate the most amount of burst per shot and how they contribute to building meter faster

putting emi in p1 makes it likely she gains indom cuz of the position is the danger zone. Blanc in p1 without biscuit makes her a poor damage sponge

Yeah the lower the RL value as in 4RL to 3RL, means the amount of time that it takes to generate burst meter. In this case, the calculator is there to tell you approx how fast that can occur with the units that you have

Lower RL is not always better, but there is an extent to where having too many batteries leads to having no strategy

Clip shotguns refer to the specific shotgun type in the game that reload a different way (pepper is an example) that generate more burst per shot than regular shotguns (i.e. marciana)

in short, yes, positions matter.
Blancs skills will target ally with lowest hp. P1 is the danger zone and most common spot for auto-targeting as you can see from the attached screenshot.
In combination with Scarlet's skills that lower her hp it makes Blanc's indom targeting pretty clear

But most peeps don't build Rosanna outside of pvp so CP deficit can be an issue

Rosanna mostly to unlink Jackal, so she's often in attack team rather than defense

But u can put her in ur shotgun defense team so the attacker wouldn't waste their jackal on your SG team, thus you won't be worrying about SG feeding into Jackal
