So ive set up my 1.0 basestations for christmas and the metal bit of the stand that screws into the base station snapped and got stuck in the bottom bit. So i tried to get it out with these pliers or grippers or whatever. and little metal bits came off and i just blew it off but i think some went into the bit where the screw is stuck so i was wondering if anyone knows if i need to buy a replacement and if itll be okay to use if i just screw it into the back bit thats free on my wall. Images are provided aswell. Thank you!

You should have looked up "how to get a broken bolt out", they probably would have given you advices to not get it even more locked in :/
If you are pointing to the bottom holes, none of them are meant to hold the basestation in place, they are for cables
If you cannot get the screw from the hole, or screw a new bolt in with enough depth to hold the station, you could look up ways to hold a station without screwing it. Most solutions would be 3D printed, but maybe there is a more "pro" solution available
okay thank you. I was wondering though if I could screw it in the back instead and if my base station would be fine if I just leave the screw in the bottom and screw it on that hole instead that's on the back of the base station on the wall mounts' provided
and i was also tryna find out if i should get a replacement instead or if i could still use it
just with the hole on the back?
Ok so your arrow was supposed to the thread at the back ?
Because yes, that thread it also meant as a mounting point (I thought that was the one you broke)
Back when I had basestations, that was where mine were attached
ohh thats fair enough to be honest then i used the bottom
but you recon itll be fine if i leave the screw in and just screw it into the back and use it no replacement required?? 😅
I mean, I have no idea what state the screw you left in is
If it is lose and might move with vibrations, it could offset your basestations
But if it is completly stuck in and does not move, then all you lost is a mounting point
to be honest its wedged in the bottom and doesnt even move if i try like it if stuck 100%. so if i just use the back hole instead itll still work fine right?
it is a mounting point, same as the other
