The goal is to stay wired to my computer while also being able to use full body (ultimate trackers) without having to use the Space Calibrator.

Currently, I am only able to use the Ultimate Trackers when it's in standalone mode but the issue is my Wi-Fi is constantly hitting me with either: Buffering Issues or "6GHz Wi-Fi Detected". It's problematic and I feel the only solution to this is if I am playing wired.

However, I cannot use full body tracking with wired gameplay unless I use the Space Calibrator. It's not like I've tried using it, the issue with the Space Calibrator is that it's constantly off center.

Potential Solution #1: USBC Splitter

  • While I believe this may be the solution, I'm afraid of overloading the headset and possibly causing a surge of power to my headset and frying the port. Below is a photo of what the USBC Splitter I'm referring to

Because of the direct display port, you cannot provide power directly to the Focus Vision without the DisplayPort Kit

But for your real problem : under the nose of the Focus Vision, there is a USB C port hidden, you can plug the Dongle in there and have the side USB slot free

Also, for the buffering : when you use the dongle connected to the headset, it needs to use Wifi 5 to communicate with the trackers
If you try to have it on Wifi 6 at the same time, it will keep switching between the 2 modes and you will get an unplayable game

You reckon I’d be able to connect a FBT dongle on slot 1 and face tracker on slot 2 with something like this and it work?

Be VERY carefull with this kinf of adapter, I do not know if they are the exact same ones but some cheap ones are known to not regulate the influx of power and can fry your hardware

As for the theory, I do not know, I only use an adapter for power and trackers not 2 data inputs at the same time

Ah definitely won’t be then, thank you for the advice!

I guess facial tracking will have to go in the meantime but it’s alright, I appreciate it
