I used the htc since 2018 or smth and had it in a box for a year or longer now. I wanted to use it again and IT DOESNT RECOGNIZE THE HEADSET, when connected via linkbox. I found out I can skip the HDMI cable in the linkbox and put it directly into my gpu. Then the headset works fine. USB and power still go into linkbox. I read smth online about how there is a more wobble effect when skipping the linkbox as well as worse performance? Is it true and if yes how much worse is it? Is there a way my gpu can recognize die linkbox? (7900 xtx, newest driver)

To get mine working I had to disable my Core isolation and I haven’t been able to turn it back on. but that’s how I got mine working I wouldn’t recommend it but that’s the only way I could
