What do we Celebrate?
The triumph of mankind over this vast domain?
Why boast of wisdom that is borrowed and not our own.
Why mourn the noble knight when all we care about,
Is the world's dominion with our might.
What revelry do we create, while only harm we pose,
Burning the Earth, burdening it with our waste,
Spilling our blood, and rendering fertile land barren.
We raise our glasses high, while we remain heedless to the cries,
As nature weeps and her creatures suffer,
In our pursuit of power, we lose sight of truth,
Blinded by the Illusion of our superiority.
What do we truly celebrate, in the end,
Is It victory or a world left in ruins?
