History is in question
Yesterday is summoned for interrogation
Today tilts the axis of interpretation
Language goes quiet
Starved, forced on a diet
Grammar practices constraint
Vowels weasel while consonants abstain
Shared syntax is summoned to be unlearned
And bit by bit, the bridge burns
Geography got tampered
Borders breached, maps altered
Old Faithful no longer lives in our Yellowstone park
The stratosphere has gone dark
Seismic activity refuses to halt
Never-ending like the San Andreas Fault
Physics comes into play
In Newton’s third law, I pay
The apple fell too far from the tree
Quantum entanglement comes at a fee
You set the butterfly effect in motion
Time has dilated every notion
Now ours is the state of Schrödinger’s cat
After you made me your lab rat
Chemistry once mimicked destiny
Now split in molecules of you and me
As truth titrates
Dilemma dilutes
The equation stands unbalanced—misaligned
Valency was kept off by design
Organic chemistry fell prey to manipulation
Every subject now in question
Math catches up slow
Logic is a no-show
Intersecting lines bend into parallel lines
Whole numbers broken into fractions
No differentiation without integration
Obtuse lies, acute whys
The Venn diagram no longer overlaps
Concentric circles collapse in the what-when-why gaps
Solving for cause, still unknown
Sine, cos, theta — all undone
