What is it to be a human?
Is it to live a life mundane,
Or to seek love and affection,
Or perhaps embrace perfection?
In my opinion,it is all of them.
Humanity is simplicity,
Yet, built on complexity of love,
Intricate and delicate , however perfect.
But what makes one inhumane?
Is it to abandon your emotions,
To achieve your dear ambitions,
Or to be immoral in this cursed world?
In my opinion, it is all of them.
For insanity is closest to inhumanity,
Yet too distant to compare,
Yet too far to be accepted.
But what is it to be of both,
A question i inquire myself with often,
Unable to assess the true complexity,
Left with half of an answer.
It is to abandon oneself,
Still seek the slightiest of affection,
For one craves the lost intimacy,
To reclaim their long gone humanity.
