This imagery is top tier. I can almost feel the fog on my skin as I read it.

This is quite mysterious to me though. I can't say I understand what the poem is about. I feel like the title should clue me in on something, but I'm unable to piece it together. Missing people, going to a train station, passing mile marker signs, cold, fog.

The blood mist line throws me off, but I would guess it's about the journey between people, from one person to the next, with the mile markers leaning into fog being people whose faces you don't really remember or don't really look at or know

I love the 'miles aren't measured in miles" line so much, and the stanza that follows even moreso

oh no I deleted it myself because I felt like I was relying too much on external validation. I decided to just stay as a reader because I don't want to scream my poems into the void
