Resist! Resist! shout some more,
together for the people's war.
Assuring advice, their age-old lies
Forcing the wool over your eyes.
On the hilltop a flock gathers,
A voice:
“Follow the law of the land,
resist only when they say we can.”
For life, liberty, and freedom again.
Show them, let them learn our pain.
Only then will those devils know,
What it's like to steal our cloaks.
In the distance a rifle glints,
The hunter takes his aim and grins.
A lamb is chosen; his scapegoat shot.
Obedience sets in among the flock.
Tomorrow when the news breaks,
Maybe then they shall raise their stakes.
To relearn the age-old tale,
When peace fails, violence prevails.
