Warning: EXTREMELY SAD EXTREMELY HEARTBREAKING you WILL CRY
Based on a VERY true story
It was a dark night, but had snow the whiteness of a summer sun
I walked home past the lamps and lanterns, and thought: finally the day is done
I walk into my lit home, not a corner nor crack without light
I sat down on a red chair, but could not believe the god-awful sight
The stove has lost its heat, the yeast is dead.
I got up and threw my seat, what the hell did you do to my bread!?!!
I charged at the criminal, armed with the crime-scene pot
I reached him, but he dodged. It is now I realized, it is still hot!
Ouch! The pot dropped to counter and then to the ground
The entire planet resonated with the supernova-loud sound
Windows shattered, water glasses turned to puzzles
I grabbed a loaf from the counter and threw it at the H2O puddles
He got up, but then struggled, stepped on the loaf and fell
Hit his head, passed out and was sent straight to hell
Apparently bread-defense is not a thing legally. I should’ve resorted to eating a melon.
But again I was defending my bread regally, and was rewarded with being a convicted felon.
The world is a cruel place, but bread is the path to life to be frank.
Until it’s all ruined by a heartless kid doing a far too evil and murderous prank.
