Each dawn I see a gruesome figure appear infront of my eyes.
Their laughter so cruel sounds like a beast's echoes in the night.
Eyes plucked out tongues ripped apart.
We walk down stinking lanes chocked with parts that resemble a human body, past homes that remain hovels with bloodstains, crumbling walls, wobbly doors, no windows.
Houses which were once filled with children's joy, the warmth of adults sharing drinks, gossiping, love flourished there but, now there were only remainings left, I look up to the sky which seems to be crowded by dark clouds, where crows circle above, their shadows haunting the earth below. On the ground, some crows feast on the lifeless, while others soar.
