This is beautiful. Please keep writing. I'm not that well atm so I will give you a short feedback in a bit.
What makes this beautiful and unique is that it's a true hybrid between astronomy and poetry. Whenever the reader feels lost, the science pulls them back in. All of the techniques you use are clever and intensify what you are trying to say about the gravitas of a planet. It forces you to take it seriously and to imagine yourself there. I love phrases like 'orbital negligence', very striking. Several times I thought you might have overdone the imagery like in ‘gaseous hues’ but mostly there's a good balance. This is an ambitious poem and deserves deep engagement. Sorry I can't give more structural feedback atm. Just some thoughts. I'd love to see where you go next.
