she was no women but a man
the way she hides
her tears with smiles
embracing all yet finds herself small
in a gathering she is there
yet not there in their eyes
she was no women at all
she had a heart of lion and fangs
of wolf
she walks alone , miles alone
met travelers yet left them alone
she was no women at all
she was a man , a soul so pure
that wings grew on her when she fell
when her heart sank deep
and none felt close enough to
let her give them a peek
into her eyes the pupils so
easily hides , the pain
the worthlessness and tears all alike
she was no women
she was MAN and a man indeed
