I don't mean your hobbies or where you're from.
I mean, I wanna know what your insides look like.
I wanna know what truly occupies your mind and what stirs your heart.
What do you lack? And if you manage to capture it, would you be content?
Or would you find something else to look for?
If you capture me, would you be content?
Or would you look for someone else?
Let me touch it.
Let me feel your sadness and rage against life.
Let me cry and scream for you.
Skin yourself for me.
Let me see your red flesh and white bones.
Let me get in your ribcage.
Let me feel your lungs fill and empty beneath my fingertips.
You won't feel a thing, my darling.
I will be soft and gentle—you won't feel a thing.
Arch your neck and look up the ceiling.
From your lungs, I'll get to your neck,
Tangle up in your cords and shift and move whenever you speak.
Skin yourself for me, and let me love you like nobody ever did.
