What if God decided to quit
What if God is tired of the hate
The red vs. blue
The white vs. black
The girl vs. the guy
Everyone being forced to pick a side
One wrong answer and half the worlds your enemy
Because all we ever know are the two big extremes
He could turn off the sun
Stop the moon
Make the air disappear abrupt
Make the waters erupt
He could get rid of us all and finally restart
Thank God that he has a heart
We know the system play against us
Everyone’s thoughts on this are the same
But we just continue to play into their game
Always controlled by the wealthy elite
Are the workers spending their days on their feet
We are aware
We have a mental map
But we force ourselves into this metaphorical trap
God has given us all a brain
Why can’t we finally begin to change
We know the wrong in the world
But we move to the side and stand
Putting ourselves in authoritarians hand
Thank God he never decided to quit
Even though all we ever do is go to him in fits
