A fire, staring in delight,
Watching humans dance upon it's very sight.
Water, watching in a trance,
Asking why humans are doing such a dance?
It approaches fire to ask what's there,
And fire simply said
"Nothing, just myself and her"
Fire smirked and looked to the side,
Watching the child who is about to die.
Fire said "look water, that child will soon be gone"
But with my help, his recovery is done.
Water nodded, and looked at fire with admiration,
But in her gaze, lies a hint of confusion.
"Who is her?" Water asked with emotion,
But no one answered,
Except screams of immolation.
And soon she watched, as fire screamed,
Water tried helping,
But it got worse it seemed.
With fire now gone,
Humans grew cold.
Staring into the sky,
Telling a tale that was never told.
