this is giving me like a cowboy wild west feel and i really enjoy it! the rhyme scheme is consistent and this piece has a really nice flow to it 🙂 i also enjoy the repetition with the desperados and the line “death is a desert of night” is very, very well written. idk how one can come up with a line like that it’s really really good and especially stands out in this piece. and then, u tie it back at the end with “a desert of daylight” which adds a nice contradiction. i honestly have no idea what u think ur lacking here, u painted a very good picture with ur words and this is a great piece!!! would love to see more from u :))
