I whisper sweet nothings,
what i covet i keep
and what i puppet i string,
i have you in my reach.
my whispers lull you,
your being and soul,
lay in blissful ignorance,
as you fall into my realm.
a muffled shrill settles,
its distance is unsure
as eyes fall blind,
a delicate cascade.
the white of hospital walls,
that cling to you so dearly,
have never seen you so clearly,
the halls fade to black.
i lay you down,
limp bone and flesh,
a heap of emptiness,
i whisper sweet nothings.
