Crap I don’t even know
Let’s start over
I’m an overthinker
My minds plagued with thoughts and worries
Over analyzing everything
All different scenarios
All the “what ifs”
All the “should haves”
“Shouldn’t have”
“Why”
“How”
I need a breath
I think what I’m trying to say is I love you
I wont stop loving you
Not until two things happen
You walk out of my life and
I find someone who i can love more
But right now
I love you

Let me start by saying I really like the feel of the poem and the emotion behind it. That being said I think the poem would really have even more impact if you used more word imagery. For example instead of using want, use more vivid words like- crave, desire or covet to put more emphasis and have less repetitive sentences. Keep up the good work though I really do love the feeling of desperation in this whole post 🙂

the thing is i write two forms of my poems one i’m open to sharing like this one but the other is personal because i literally talk to or have a conversation with the other person like i call them out by name and every poem now is about my ex girlfriend a lot were written while we were still together so im slowly editing and making the second versions and posting them here
