Yet everyone’s always on mine,
All the space within me,
I gave away to people,
who barely even know me,
Yet they’ve never noticed,
They make it all look painless,
And they’re still inside…
Repression is exhausting,
There’s no place for me anywhere,
Not even in my own mind,
Mush my face into the pillow,
So far into it,
Hoping I’ll melt into it,
And get away from it all,
Maybe tomorrow I’ll wake up,
With all their baggage gone,
And all that’s left inside,
Are feelings that are mine,
And I’ll get over the discomfort,
Of finally feeling fine…
