I wish I could break down and apologize
For all of my sins and misjudgments
But that’d be embarrassing, a real f'ing kick in the teeth
Don’t expect a word of guilt or remorse for my wrongs
‘Cause I can’t resist the feel of earth beneath me
That being said, I wouldn’t mind if you would
Push me around, maybe kick me in the teeth
But I’d look like a wimp, maybe a coward
Do I look like I’d make a good coward?
I painted my room purple to match my disgrace
And the art inside my head’s space
I can feel the earth shaking beneath my weight
This might not be healthy, but I couldn’t care less
Not even if you’d kick my teeth in again
But I can’t afford to look like an aphrodisiac
It’s all a big secret. I do well in purple
Maybe if I was draped in scarlet red
Maybe if I was draped in scarlet red.
