I feel like a void
Only emptiness inside me
I have those I call friends
Yet the void engulfs me
Telling me im alone
In this big world
My brain knows I have others
But something deep tells me otherwise
Why oh why must I feel this way
This pain is unbearable I feel such shame
It's hard to describe to others who ask
It's hard to know that they will not laugh
The void of loneliness and depression
Inside that grows with no interactions
I need that light to guide my way
Or the void will take me forever
Is this it ? All that I will be ?
A wonder in the void reaching for dreams
I understand yet heartbroken
I'm not alone yet I write this poem
Where am I to go
What am I to do
I don't think I know
So I'll just keep writing.
